The question
On 2026-09-21 the owner chose the simple emergency craft (right of way only) as the default. How does it fly across the map?
What was tested
72 runs over three weathers, two link settings and two speeds.
What was found then
The simple craft was lost 3 times in 24 runs, the same as the craft without priority (link-set rules: 6). The rule allows one extra loss per case, so this is not proof of equal safety. Others' losses were mixed (3 cases better, 3 worse, layouts mostly agreeing). In calm air at 3× the simple craft took about 2.0–2.3 times the straight-flight time, while the no-priority craft's surviving runs flew at 1.0. In the headwind the no-priority craft ended trips far left of its line. Against wind-corrected time, the link-set rules' headwind delay read 1.11, not 1.29.
What we learned later
The no-priority craft's calm 3× speed came from runs that left the traffic's height.

Measured after the stage: the simple craft's own close-call time was like that of a craft without priority on 11 of 12 test cases; the one worse case did not hold on fresh layouts.

What changed
'Priority on' means the simple emergency craft again (the owner's decision). On-time is measured against wind-corrected time; holding the craft level stays off.
Corrections retained in the record
Earlier wording: the simple craft was lost 4 times in 24 runs, the same as an ordinary craft ... (the radio package: 8)
Record correction: The cycle's per-row table gives 3 / 3 / 6.
research/design/prio_simple_map_record.md (M3)
Earlier wording: ordinary losses scatter both ways (... the two seeds disagreeing inside a cell)
Record correction: The per-cell table shows the two seeds agreeing on direction in 5 of the 6 non-flat cells.
