This is an earlier experiment. Read the amendments below before treating its findings as current.
The question
Checking deliveries rather than collisions: landings at the pads never reached the trip counter.
What was tested
Each pad landing now counts as one completed trip; the flying itself is unchanged.
What was found then
Three scenarios had reported zero trips in all 87 of their test cases while landing craft all day. So anything that choked the approach was invisible. Now the basic free-for-all pad case reports 125 landings, 100 in fog and 150 at a cruise speed of 16 m/s. The basic crowded-sky case reports 160 arrivals. Trip totals before this fix cannot be compared for those scenarios.
What changed
Pad landings count as trips (scoring only; reference runs exactly unchanged).
