The question

The first crowding test stopped before any jam. This one pushed further.

What was tested

The crossing-streams test was extended to 400, 600 and 800 craft per km².

What was found then

Still no jam at 800 per km². Traffic moved (crowding times speed, in craft per km² × m/s) kept rising, to 2,259, while speed levelled off near 2.8 m/s. But the closest approach fell to 0.73 of the required spacing (below 1 means a safety bubble was entered). At high crowding, safety runs out before capacity does.

What changed

Nothing.
